Lakefield Chiefs Spring Prospect Camp 2024

The Lakefield Chiefs are inviting athletes born between the years 2003 and 2008 to their upcoming Spring Prospect Camp.

Friday, June 7  |  6:15 pm – 8:15 pm
Saturday, June 8  (2 skates) |  10:15 am – 12:15 pm & 2:15 pm – 4:15 pm

The camp will be held at the Kinsmen Arena (Caley’s Crease Pad) located at 1 Kinsmen Way, Peterborough. Players are guaranteed a minimum of 4 hours of ice time. Refreshments, snacks and lunch will be provided on Saturday.

Players are required to wear a full cage or face shield, as per Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) rules.

Players need provide a Permission to Skate (PTS) form from their local minor hockey centre or other junior affiliate program, if applicable.

The cost of the Prospect Camp is:
Skaters = $100  |  Goalies = $60  |  Returning Chiefs Players = $20

Payment is due prior to the first skate on June 7. E-transfer payment can be made to: lakefieldchiefsjrc@gmail.com.

To register for the Prospect Camp, athletes must complete the Prospect Camp Registration Form by Monday, June 4.

Things to consider:
– Chiefs bus to ALL away games
– Travel is much less than minor hockey “AA” & “AAA” loops
– Costs are a fraction of “AAA” or Tier 2 Junior costs
– Chiefs players receive coats, bags and other accessories
– The season consists of 42 regular season games, (usually twice per week)
– Chiefs practice 1 or 2 times per week to allow players to concentrate on academics (high school, college or university), employment and hockey with a balanced schedule.

The Lakefield Chiefs compete in the Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL), East Tod Division. They are a proud and successful franchise, winning arguably the toughest division in Jr. “C” hockey.
